About Me

After studying social anthropology at Queen’s University, Belfast, I worked as a travel-guide writer and proofreader for a website management company based in Bath. In 2012 I moved to Nice and have lived in France ever since. As well as being a qualified TEFL teacher, I also hold the postgraduate-level CIOL Diploma in Translation (semi-specialised units: social science and literature) for which I took an exam-preparation course at City University, London. As a member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists, I adhere to the principles set out in their code of professional conduct

Working with SDL Trados, I make the most of both my academic and professional experience to produce high-quality translations within an agreed deadline. If you have documents that need translating, proofreading or editing, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
